Each year we send as many calendars as we can around to world to almost any address we can find for people who are in positions to help change opinions about Fukushima. Notable recipients have included Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Governor General of Canada, Canadian Prime Ministers Stephen Harper and Justin Trudeau, former US Presidents Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama, foreign ambassadors to Japan from America, Canada, New Zealand and The Netherlands, as well as major TV networks and newspapers both domestic and abroad.
Thank you for the wonderful calendar !
I appreciate your remembering me in such a thoughtful way.
It is heartening to see that foreign born residents are striving to correct misconceptions about the region in the wake of the events of March 11, 2011.
The calendar has become popular around the Embassy, with many staff displaying copies in their offices.
Je vous félicite pour votre projet de calendrier qui démontre la beauté de cette préfecture.
With your continued dedication I hope that more people discover that Fukushima is a safe and beautiful place to work, live and visit.
You and your fellow calendar contributors are continuing to do an outstanding job of highlighting the beauty and uniqueness of Fukushima Prefecture.
Her Majesty was interested to hear of your project to send these to people around the world and was touched that you sent a calendar for her to see.
We were there before, during, and after the triple disaster and it really hurts to hear people have an uneducated view of Fukushima.
