It has been more than five years since Fukushima was struck by the Great Tohoku Earthquake and resulting tsunami. Since that tragic date, the land and its people are gradually healing. Much has been accomplished in the years since the tragedy, and there is still much more to do. The path to recovery has been and continues to be a long one, but the people of Fukushima are up to the challenge. With each passing year, their resolve grows stronger. Because this is a land of great beauty and a people of great courage. This is our home.
